Perform comprehensive study to the existing electrical power distribution system and provide recommendation to improve and increase system reliability. Tasks included field survey, equipment documentation, and assessment, power system studies consisting of fault, load flow and protective relay coordination. Provided recommendation to interface with existing SCADA. Additional studies include harmonic analysis, insulation coordination as well as study to replace existing reciprocating engines with gas turbines for the Plant¡¦s cogeneration system. A report summarizing the findings and recommendations to improve power system reliability, correct deficiencies, and replace antiquated electrical equipment will be the final deliverable product.
