Provided electrical design for all ventilation structures, ventilation substations, 34.5kV service to traction power substations, substation grounding. The scope included design drawings for subway lightings and lighting, power, fire alarm for all ventilation structures, single-line diagrams, control diagrams, schematics, raceway layouts/plans, details, raceway and circuit schedules, electrical load analysis, short circuit analysis, voltage drop analysis, generator sizing and startup analysis. Protective device coordination study, relay settings, grounding calculations, seismic support design, submittal review, project management, QA/QC, design review, meetings, RFI response, record drawings and field observation as required. Coordination was an essential part of this contract and required interface with the system wide raceway designer and traction power substation suppliers.
