Campus Distribution System Upgrade University of California
Berkeley, CA
Provided system study and design for the complete electrical distribution system upgrade which involved 5 switching stations, over 100 buildings, long sections of underground duct banks, 25 miles of medium voltage cable and survey of over 90 manholes and vaults. In view of industrial interest on rehabilitating an electrical deistribution system of such complexity and extensiveness, a technical paper was written by YEI principals and the campus engineer. The paper was published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
